The Grainery Church presents the return of ‘Good King Wenceslas’, an original musical based on the story of the much loved Christmas carol.
Good King Wenceslas features an original script written by Theo Rule, and a musical score written by Jeremy Barnes, Lindy Connett, and Brendan Wright.
The story tells of the sainted king who trekked into the snow with his fool by his side, to find and rescue a starving peasant from the bitter cold.
Featuring a large cast of singers, dancers, actors, musicians and technicians, we are delighted to be bringing this life-giving production to the people of Newcastle in the most precious season of Christmas.
