From Sunday 2nd of August, for those who would like to gather in person, we are preparing to reopen with TEN brand new celebrations, across three locations. This will including a brand new location: Hackney Church House, in our new church halls complex in Hackney Central.
Hackney Church Everywhere will continue to be our primary way of meeting, which means that you and your household can continue to enjoy being part of Hackney Church Everywhere – right where you are, wherever you are.

The shape of our Live Sundays will be as follows:
At 10am, there will be a ‘Quiet Communion’ at our Homerton & Leyton locations. This will be a thirty-minute, socially-distanced communion service including times of reflection, readings, prayers, Holy Communion and church news.
Then at 11am, we’ll be running ‘Hackney Church Live’ at our Homerton, Leyton & Hackney locations. Hackney Church Live is a brand new, hour-long, socially-distanced informal service with live hosting, prayer, ministry times, during which we’ll join with Hackney Church Everywhere for teaching, worship, and church news.
Then at 6pm, we’ll be launching our evening ‘Hackney Church Live’ experience at our Homerton, Leyton & Hackney locations.
Hackney Church Live is going to be a hybrid version of Hackney Church Everywhere, with some elements on video, and others in person and live. And we think it’s going to be great fun.

The format of Sundays in our Mayfield, Newcastle, and Maitland locations will all be identical, with the following services on offer An hour-long, socially-distanced informal service with live hosting, worship, prayers, ministry times, during which we’ll join Grainery Online for teaching and church news.
Celebrations
Tickets
Our capacity at each location will be limited so we can create a safe and socially distanced experience. To ensure you get a seat, encourage you to reserve a free ticket online before you come to arrive at one of the celebration locations. You can book tickets for your family and friends, and you can book for your guests. We would just ask you only to book tickets you will use so someone else doesn’t miss out.
Doors will open 15 minutes before the celebrations begin.
You will be able to book your TICKETS online here, or by telephone by calling (02) 4969 5557. If you have not reserved a seat, you can turn up on the day, however, we cannot guarantee you entry.
Hygiene
Hand-sanitiser will be available upon entry. All surfaces will be sanitized between services, including the sterilization of Kids ministry spaces. If you’re feeling unwell, please stay home and join us through Grainery Online instead.
Families
Grainery ‘Here & Now’ is designed to allow you and your family to gather together again in community. Grainery Kids will be available across 6 of our locations each Sunday, adhering to regulation hygiene practices to ensure the safety of your family. We do ask if your child is showing symptoms of any illness that they remain at home and follow along with our Grainery Kids Online content.
Worship
To prevent transmission, we will not initially be encouraging singing out loud when we gather, but rather looking to ‘sing and make music in our hearts’. While this may seem strange to many of us, worship is not just about singing – Romans 12 – ‘offer your bodies as living sacrifices’—Let’s take this opportunity to experience God’s love, to reflect, and to meditate on Him corporately.
Prayer Ministry
Prayer Ministry will still be available for you and your family at our celebrations as our teams will be conscious of practicing social distancing.
One-Way System
All locations will operate a one-way system of separate entrances and exits.

Connect Groups are encouraged to attend the same celebration, so speak with your group leaders and find out which celebration they’re gathering at!
