About

Opening in 2020, The Grainery Church Maitland is a non-denominational church serving Maitland, Rutherford, and the surrounding Hunter Valley region.

We welcome you to join us at our Maitland Campus. Led by campus pastors Phil and Vicki Cosgrove, our Hunter Valley community is a God-loving and people-loving group of believers from all walks of life and all stages of life.

Sundays

Worship starts at 10am every Sunday.

Each Sunday we offer a Kid’s Program for children Age 2 to Grade 6, and a Youth Program for High School Yr7 – Yr 12.

Stay after the service for morning tea, to meet new people, and to gather in community.

Midweek

Youth (high-school age) gather every Friday night during school term for an all-in youth night at our Newcastle Campus. These nights are fun and are a fantastic opportunity to meet others. Check out our Youth page for information, or follow us on our socials on Instagram and Facebook.

Our VIPs (over 55s) gather every second month for morning tea. Each gathering features a guest speaker and is a great time of fellowship with others. See below details for our 2024 dates.

VIPs (over 55s)

Join us every second month for our VIPs (over 55s) morning tea gathering.
There is ample parking, and a lift to take you to Lvl 1.

Contact our VIPs Pastor Sam Pilli if you have any questions at sam.pilli@grainery.org.au.

Register HERE for our next VIPs event.

All welcome!

Connect Groups

It can be a challenge to find friendships and community in a new church, so being part of a smaller gathering can be really helpful for each of us. One of the best ways to find a place of belonging is to become part of a smaller group within the larger body of the Church. We call them Connect Groups and the name says it all. Our aim is to provide a place for you to not only get to know people, but also find a sense of family and friendship that will sustain and encourage you in your relationship with God. To find out more about Connect Groups, or to register your interest, visit our Connect Groups page.

Maitland Pledge

At The Grainery in Maitland, we have a wonderful leased facility that is such a blessing to our church community and is able to be used as a 24/7 ministry centre – but it takes a community to continue to make this facility, our home, available so that we can further impact our local community.

‘Maitland Pledge’ is a special initiative that allows everyone at The Grainery Maitland to work together to build the Kingdom of God within, among, and beyond in a truly practical way. By each person committing to paying $10 per week toward our ‘Maitland Pledge’ initiative, we can continue to provide a wonderful home for our church community whilst freeing up our tithes and offerings to go toward ongoing ministry and outreach beyond our four walls.

Your $10 matters.
We are thrilled to invite you into this exciting opportunity that harnesses the collective power of our incredible community.  It’s astonishing to think about the impact each one of us can make when we join forces.

Here is how you can set up your regular contribution toward ‘Maitland Pledge’ today.
