Spaces for Hire
This has a maximum capacity of 550 people in concert seating format. Full professional sound, lighting and visual capacities are available with the ability to have complete blackout of natural light. In dinner format it can seat 200 people around circular tables.
Informal lounge with room for 20 people in a beautifully styled room. It has tea, coffee and food serving capacity.
This room has a maximum capacity of 150 people in concert seating. It has full sound, lighting and visual capability but is run from the front of house. This is a great space for seminars and workshops and it has the possibility of natural light.
When the River Café is not open it can be hired as an informal space with room for 30 people over 8 or more tables.
Meeting room 1, 2 & 3
There are two meeting rooms close to reception that can host meetings of 10 people around a table. Both rooms can have the common wall opened to host a larger meeting around a long table. One room has a data projector, and this can also be used in the larger format. The larger format is called meeting room 3. Meeting room 1 &2 cannot be booked while meeting room 3 is operating.
An informal space with a lounge for counselling and ministry between 2 people. This has a opaque glass door to provide privacy but without complete seclusion.
A full commercial kitchen with ample prep space and commercial dishwasher is available for use outside of the River Café opening hours. Due to the value of the fittings, this room requires a security deposit of $500 that is fully refundable after a final inspection on completion of the hire. The deposit can roll forward on regular bookings.
Hours of operation
We will consider most enquires around weekdays, week-nights and Saturdays. The building is not available on Friday nights as the church run a youth ministry that requires the whole building to be secure and Sunday as the whole building is used all day. From Tuesday to Friday reception is open from 8:30 till 3pm. Hiring is still available outside of these times but there may be an added fee with the need for building opening and closing. Some events or meetings will need to have a building host and this will be reflected in the quote.
