The Grainery Church is committed to providing beautiful meeting spaces and making them as accessible to the community as possible.

Newcastle Function Room Hire

From birthdays, baby showers, workshops and corporate functions, school and dance presentations, to Christmas functions and engagement parties, The Grainery building has 5 hireable spaces to suit any occasion!

Hire of tablecloths, cutlery, dinnerware, and glassware packages are available on request. Catering is available on request.

Spaces for Hire

Main Auditorium

This room has a maximum capacity of 400 people in concert seating format. In dinner format it can seat 200 people around circular tables. Full professional sound, lighting and visual capacities are available (operated by our in-house tech team).

The Lounge

Informal lounge with room for 30 people in a beautifully styled room. It has tea, coffee and food serving capacity. This room also has a screen to connect a laptop for presentations.

Auditorium 2

This room has a maximum capacity of 150 people in concert seating. It has full sound, lighting and visual capability. This is a great space for seminars and workshops.

Café

The River Café can be hired after hours as an informal space with room for up to 80 people. This space opens to an outdoor space with a covered patio and an open green area for guests to enjoy.

Conference Rooms

We have one large meeting room that can host 20 people. This room can also be divided into two for a group of 10-12 per room. This room also includes a Smart TV for presentations (HDMI cords provided). A whiteboard, water, glasses and mints are also included in the hiring of this room.
